Barbican: Our Time On Earth - Queer Ecology

Concept of Colombian biologist Brigitte Baptiste and Institute of Digital Fashion. A shared collective experience, which reflects on Baptiste’s assertion ‘there is nothing more queer than nature’. As visitors watch their singular identities dissolve into matter, beyond the physical body, leaving society’s binary labels, the piece looks at what humans can learn from nature’s own gender fluidity.
